Jim was born in 1968 and grew up on a dairy farm in Southwest Wisconsin. He graduated from the
University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 1990 and received his MBA from University of Phoenix in
He has been in the financial services sector since 2013 after completing his Series 7 and 66 licenses
besides being a registered representative and investment advisor representative, Jim also spends considerable time
working with seniors and their Medicare plans. He represents multiple Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage,
Part D drug plan, and dental & vision plan carriers.
His wife Kari has been teaching in Walworth County for nearly 30 years. Both of his children attend UW-Lacrosse.
Jim spent 7 years on the Williams Bay School Board and coached over a dozen seasons of youth sports. He has
been the coordinator of the Lake Geneva Area Crop Hunger Walk since 2014 and in his spare time, enjoys watching
